Mice were randomly grouped and fasted for 4~6 h. All groups were administered glucose (1 g/kg) by oral gavage, and blood glucose levels were monitored at the indicated time points. Data in figure B were normalized to the baseline (0 min) value of each individual mouse. 

Results are expressed as mean ± SEM. Statistical analysis was performed using an unpaired two-tailed Student’s t-test; * P < 0.05, ** P < 0.01.
