Non-GLP toxicology studies are typically conducted in the early stages of drug discovery and for preliminary toxicological assessment. Their primary purpose is to explore the toxicological properties of new compounds, thereby providing guidance for subsequent study design and project decision-making.
The SMOC maintains an AAALAC-accredited SPF (specific pathogen-free) animal facility, equipped with comprehensive clinical laboratory equipment as well as histopathology and physiological testing instruments. We provide non‑GLP early toxicity evaluation services to generate adequate safety data for druggability assessment.

Cytokine analysis of MC38-tumor-bearing hCD40 mice treated with anti-human CD40 antibody revealed varying cytokine expression patterns. Treatment with anti-human CD40 antibody resulted in a significant increase in multiple cytokines, including IL-12 (p40) and eotaxin.

The SMOC Pathology Service Platform integrates a one-stop service capability from meticulous dissection of mice to digital histopathological analysis, covering H&E staining, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and a variety of histochemical staining techniques.
