Inflammation Models

inflammation diseases inflammation research inflammatory factors

Inflammation is a common yet important pathological process. Any factor that may cause tissue damage can lead to inflammation. Anomal inflammatory response may result in chronic inflammation, autoimmune diseases and even cancer. The regulation of inflammation-related genes is an important topic in the study of the development of inflammation.

P53 CKO Mouse Model

p53 knockout p53 knockout mice p53 gene

Our own-developed mouse model of p53 conditional knockout (p53-CKO) can be mated with mice carrying tissue-specific Cre expression to obtain mice with homozygous deletion of p53 in specific tissues or cells. These mice can be used for tumorigenesis and tumor mechanistic studies.

Model Repository

model repository

Shanghai Model Organisms has established more than 18,000 genetically modified mouse models using three core technologies of gene editing. It has more than 10,000 proprietary genetically engineered mouse models that can be directly used for studies on gene functions, drug screening, and human diseases. At the same time, Shanghai Model Organisms has more than 30 fluorescent-labeled tumor cell lines, which can be used for in vitro experiments, studies on tumor bearing mice and other tumor researches.

Pten CKO Mouse Model

Our own-developed mouse model of Pten conditional knockout (Pten-CKO) can be mated with mice carrying tissue-specific Cre expression to obtain mice with homozygous deletion of Pten in specific tissues or cells, thus avoiding the embryonic death caused by systemic and homozygous Pten knockout. Pten-CKO mice can be used to study tumorigenesis, anti-tumor targets, neurogenesis, glial differentiation and cerebellar development.

Disease Mouse Models (Non-genetically-engineered)

diseases mice diseases model non genetically modified organisms

Shanghai Model Organisms has established a library of typical mouse models of human diseases through surgery or drug induction, thereby providing useful animal models for the research on pathogenesis of related diseases, functional studies of genes or proteins in diseases, screening of disease drugs and evaluation of therapeutic effects, etc.

Mouse

transgenic mice mouse model editing mouse

Mice have long been the prime choice for model organisms. In more than 100 years, mice have been widely used by researchers in the fields of physiology, pathology, pharmacology, toxicology, and behavioral science. With the establishment of gene targeting technology, many researchers have made their way to the Nobel Prize.
