Genetically Modified Tumor Mouse Models

The genetically modified spontaneous tumor models are constructed by introducing targeted genetic alterations in mice to induce tumor formation. These models typically involve CRISPR/Cas9-mediated modifications of oncogenes or tumor suppressor genes, where either constitutive activation or conditional knockout of gene expression drives tumorigenesis through defined molecular pathways. SMOC has independently developed a variety of spontaneous tumor mouse models to support preclinical drug development.
