Srebf2-Flox

Strain Name:C57BL/6Smoc-Srebf2em1(flox)Smoc
Strain State:Embryo cryopreservation | Cat. NO.:NM-CKO-200136

These mice carry loxP sites flanking exon 1 of Srebf2 gene. When crossed with a Cre recombinase-expressing strain, this strain is useful in eliminating tissue-specific conditional expression of Srebf2 gene.

Mice

Apoe-KO(2)

Strain Name:C57BL/6Smoc-Apoeem5Smoc
Strain State:Embryo cryopreservation | Cat. NO.:NM-KO-190565

Apoe-KO(2) mice (Stock No.NM-KO-190565) carry a knockout allele derived from the targeted deletion of exon 2-4. While Apoe-KO mice (Stock No.NM-KO-00033) have been pulled from shelves for some reasons.

Mice

Soat1-Flox

Strain Name:C57BL/6Smoc-Soat1tm1(flox)Smoc
Strain State:Embryo cryopreservation | Cat. NO.:NM-CKO-190064

These mice carry loxP sites flanking exon4 of Soat1 gene. When crossed with a Cre recombinase-expressing strain, this strain is useful in eliminating tissue-specific conditional expression of Soat1 gene.

Mice

C57BL/6

Strain Name:C57BL/6Smoc
Strain State:Repository Live | Cat. NO.:SM-001

C57BL/6 mice have a high reproductive capacity, a long life span, and a low tumor susceptibility. Male mice are aggressive and fight frequently. Diet can cause obesity, type II diabetes, and atherosclerosis in these mice. The C57BL/6 mouse is the first to have its entire genome sequenced. It is the most extensively used inbred mouse strain as a genetic basis for congenic and mutant mice. It is also used in genetics, metabolism, immunology, neurology, behavioral research, pharmacodynamics, and medication safety evaluation.

Mice

Tagln-Cre

Strain Name:C57BL/6Smoc-Taglnem1(Cre-WPRE-polyA)Smoc
Strain State:Repository Live | Cat. NO.:NM-KI-200144

A Cre-WPRE-polyA expression cassette was knocked into the Tagln gene start codon site. This gene encodes a smooth muscle cell-specific cytoskeletal protein. When crossed with a strain carrying a gene flanked by loxP sites, the flanked gene will be removed in vascular smooth muscle cells. In mouse models of atherosclerosis, the gene product may be involved in plaque cell and atherosclerotic lesion formation during atherogenesis.

Rats

Apoe-KO(SD)

Strain Name:SD-Apoeem1Smoc Strain State:Repository Live | Cat. NO.:NR-KO-190003

Exon 2-4 of Apoe gene was deleted to generate Apoe knockout rat.
