Fig.1 Radiographic evidence of increased bone mineral density, calcification and bone fusion in Enpp1−/− mice (30 weeks, male).
Radiographs of Enpp1-/- mice show incresed bone mineral density and calcification at the joints of the hindlimb compared with wild type(*). Enpp1-/- mice also exhibit bone fusion at the joints of the hindlimb compared with wild type(#). No abnormality can be detected in Enpp1+/- mice.

The CT images of a representative Enpp1-/- cranium showed calcification of the dermal sheath of vibrissae.
