Model Description

On the basis of strain Cyp26a1-Flox, loxP sites were inserted on both sides of Cyp26c1 gene exon 6. When crossed with a Cre recombinase-expressing strain, this strain is useful in eliminating tissue-specific conditional expression of Cyp26c1 gene.
